Gary Bovan

Senior Partner

Gary joined C.N. Gaunt and Son in 1986 where he practiced as a Bailiff to the Sheriff and certificated Bailiff. He passed his entrance exam into the Bailiffs Association in 1989 and has gained a great wealth of practical experience. Over this period he has gained great respect in his field for this practical approach to enforcement.

He has had an active role within the National Eviction Team and has dealt with large-scale evictions within the North of England.

He has assisted in training in a number of different roles alongside the Inland Revenue, Customs and Excise and Official Receivers Office. He shows great strengths in the field of commercial rent recovery and has a proven record as an effective recovery officer.

Being appointed by the Senior Master as a High Court Enforcement Officer, he sits as a Director of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association working on the education pathway for its Members.

He has a passion for recovery and believes in fast, effective enforcement.

James Metcalfe

Partner

James has worked in debt recovery for over twenty years; he has been a certificated bailiff since 1991.

In 2009 he was appointed by the Senior Master as a High Court Enforcement Officer for England and Wales.

Adam Crossley

Senior Bailiff

Adam has a wealth of experience in enforcement having worked for Certificated Bailiff Companies since 1992. He started working for CNG in 1997 and holds the Senior Bailiff position-managing complex cases and specialises in Eviction warrants and commercial rent.
He has passed the Certificated Bailiffs Exam and is a member of ESA.

Matt Kindell

Residential Locksmith

With a military background and conflict management training, Matt proves to be a resolute Enforcement Officer. Matt is also a trained locksmith enhancing his role as a proactive member of our Enforcement team.

Sharon Carrol

Accounts Department

The accounting, often neglected, but highly recognised at CN Gaunt's has an integral part of our firm. Sharon heads up the accounts department and has worked at CNG for over 22 years. With Sharon's wealth of experience specifically in this industry, she runs the accounts department like clockwork.

Gillian Armitage

Transfer Up Department

Gill has an abundance of experience in debt recovery working for prestige solicitors such as Hammond’s, Lee and Priestly and most recently Drydens Law. With her knowledge of court procedures she ensures the County Court transfer process runs smoothly.
